Current status
The browser version does not open DOCX or PDF files. It refuses them and does not process part of a document.
It also does not run OCR and does not check images.
What you can do now
Copy the text from the document and paste it into the browser version. Review the text and replace personal details in your browser.
The original document can also contain images, comments, metadata and hidden text. Check them in the document itself before you share it.
Tables and structured data
Save a table as UTF-8 CSV. Save structured data as JSON with string values. The app checks each field.
