Use unchanged placeholders

Paste a reply as text and select “Restore reply”. The original values return only for placeholders from the current map.

The app refuses altered, unknown or foreign placeholders. Restore does not recreate an original file.

The map lives in this tab

The map has no timer. It stays in the memory of this tab until you clear it.

Reload, navigation, a change of the source text or “Clear everything” removes the map. After that, you cannot restore without a recovery file.

Erase after restore

This option is on by default. After a successful restore, the app erases the map.

Turn the option off before restore if you must restore another reply.

Encrypted recovery file

You can prepare an encrypted map file and a separate secret. The app encrypts the map with AES-256-GCM. The secret appears separately from the file.

Save the file and the secret in different places. Without both, you cannot restore. No one can recover a lost secret.

Saved files have no expiry and cannot be revoked. You control them and you erase them.
